| We Currently Offer the Following Therapeutic Groups at Synchrony . Batterer/Domestic Violence Intervention Groups Edwyn Ortiz-Nance, MAOB, Psy. D. Call for Enrollment Following an initial intake session, each court-referred adult is required to participate in a 40-week/80 hr. This Intervention program addresses power control issues towards women. Referrals are accepted from self-referrals, DSS, prisons and all courts in Fresno, Tulare, Kern and Kings County. Fees are established at the initial intake appointment. Bariatric Pre/Post Group Edwyn Ortiz-Nance, MAOB, Psy. D Most Bariatric surgeons agree that ongoing support after surgery leads to the greatest level of success. Bariatric surgery support groups give you a great opportunity to discuss personal or professional issues that arise from surgery or from a history of obesity. They allow you to surround yourself with people who understand and support your goals, which directly increases your chances of long-term success. This Bariatric Surgery Support Group will also help you develop realistic expectations. That is, weight loss surgery will not immediately resolve existing emotional difficulties, or heal the years of damage caused by a lifetime of being overweight.
